"My group (name them) were randomly given a fairy tale or nursery rhyme, and a question. We can use these as stimulus to create a music video. The fairy tale/nursery rhyme we were given was This Little Piggy and the question we were given was 'how long is a piece of string' " -Our initial idea is to create a montage of short aesthetically pleasing shots. We want to use variety of different shooting locations rather than just one location. Instead of having a a storyline our ambition is to focus more on the shooting locations and the music behind the video. We hope that by avoiding a storyline and using a montage of shots we will be able to draw the audiences attention to the clips and music. We want to incorporate our nursery rhyme 'This Little Piggy' using a shot of a mother demonstrating the rhyme on her babies foot. this will be a short clip without the sound of the rhyme which means the arm

Patrick Watson - Lighthouse Other music videos: Is there a common theme to his videos? The first music video I embedded of the song 'Broken' shows lights a car passes driving at night. Occasionally, faces of other people including the artist appear as an overlay over the shots of the lights. Not a lot is happening in the video and even though it seems like it is not following a certain storyline, the video suits the lyrics of the song. Lines such as ' Tell me where we're going tonight, tell me where we're going so fast' suit the car driving past the neon lights at night. The second video of the song 'Places you will go' is a one-take lip-syncing performance using different effects to make the heads of the performers bigger. Our final storyline idea for our music video involves three children exploring their surroundings in order to escape the reality of their everyday life. Abused by their father, they find happiness in the nature and places around them. At the end of our music video it will become clear that the little boy who is one of the three children is the artist performing the song telling the story of his upbringing through his song.
